Patron Circles
The Clay Club
Launching 2024
As an homage to our founding principles, The Clay Club is a subscription based patron circle that invites members into SculptureCenter’s research process creating close encounters with artists, curators, critics and academics. Developed around a theme of particular urgency and importance in contemporary art today, The Clay Club provides a year-long active syllabus led by our curatorial team together with guest contributors.
The program features a running list of readings and resources; studio visits and discussions with SculptureCenter's artist collaborators, including exhibiting artists, artist Trustees, and artist friends; conversations with acclaimed writers and critics; private walkthroughs; exhibition recommendations in New York City and beyond; and a bespoke annual trip, all expanding on our topic of the year. The Clay Club offers an enriching long-term engagement with a subject and deepens shared curiosities with a like-minded community of art enthusiasts.
